Lawn Conversion

Converting existing turf to low- & no-water using landscapes can save water outdoors and provide a beautiful water-smart landscape.

Program Requirements:

  • Must be converting existing turf area to no- or low-water use landscape
  • Existing turf must have been actively irrigated within the past two years
  • Vehicle parking areas, solid plastic sheeting, bare dirt, sheds, hot tub/pools, water features, and artificial turf are not eligible
  • Pre-conversion inspections are highly preferred
  • If lawn is reinstalled within 10 years of the completion date of the project, the entire rebate remount is required to be repaid to the City

Clothes Washer

Installing a front-loading Energy Star® Most Efficient clothes washer can reduce water and energy use at home.

Program Requirements:

  • Clothes washer must be a front-loading Energy Star Most Efficient qualified product
  • A copy of the invoice or receipt confirming purchase price and model information must be included with the completed rebate application

High-Efficiency Toilet or Urinal

Replacing old inefficient toilets with high-efficiency toilets can help save water indoors. 

Program Requirements:

  • Toilet(s) must be .8 gpf or less
  • Toilet(s) must be an EPA WaterSense labeled fixture
  • Urinal(s) must be EPA WaterSense labeled with 0.125 gpf or less or a waterless urinal
  • A copy of the invoice or receipt confirming purchase price and model information must be included with the completed rebate application.

WaterSense labeled irrigation controllers can significantly reduce overwatering by applying water only when plants need it.

Program Requirements:

  • WaterSense labeled weather-based or moisture sensing controller
  • A copy of the invoice or receipt confirming purchase price and model information must be included with the completed rebate application.
