After School Education & Safety (ASES) Grant-Funded Program
This grant-funded after school program is a partnership with Healdsburg Unified School District, ensuring a meaningful connection between the school day and after school program curriculum for Healdsburg Elementary School, Fitch Mountain Elementary School and Healdsburg Junior High School students.
- Club HES and Club FMC - The after school program for grades K-5, operates from the end of the school day to 6 p.m. each school day. K-2 (Club HES)will be at the Healdsburg Elementary School campus and the 3rd-5th grade(Club FMC) will be at the Fitch Mountain Campus. The daily schedule includes homework assistance, outdoor play, enrichment activities and a nutritional snack.
- Club H (Grades 6-8) - Club H is located on-site at the Healdsburg Junior High. This program also begins at the end of the school day and ends at 6 p.m. each school day. The daily schedule includes a nutritional snack, homework assistance, enrichment activities and games/sports and more.
Our programs provide students with engaging and constructive activities that are in line with state education standards. Our staff communicates regularly with teachers and school administrators to ensure that program activities support what the children are learning in school. Programs are led by trained staff who meet the school district's requirements for para-professional educators or who have early childhood education and / or experience.
No Fee Program
The After School Safety and Education (ASES) grant provides the funds for these programs allowing Healdsburg Elementary children to participate at no charge. There are attendance requirements of participants, however, that must be adhered to by participants in order to comply with the grant regulations. The ASES grant limits the number of children who may be served.
Registration:
Priority Registration for the Afterschool Program is finally here! City of Healdsburg Community Services and HUSD have been working on new software, called 6crickets to allow families to register for our joint programs. Please download the app on your phone, as this program will be used to check our students in/out during the school year. Current 2024-2025 will have priority registration to enroll in the Fall 2025-2026 school year. If you qualified for the ELO summer program it will be a similar process, you will choose from Club HES (TK-2 grades), Club FMC (3-5 grades), and Club H (6-8 grades). To allow priority registration for families, your child will be waitlisted otherwise it opens up to the general public. Important Enrollment Information on 6crickets
At this time, the 6crickets system only allows families to join the waitlist. This is because current students are given priority before the program opens to the public.
Please make sure to join the waitlist as soon as possible so your child is counted and can receive priority when enrollment becomes available.
Once enrollment officially opens, families on the waitlist will be notified and given the opportunity to register first, before any remaining spots are offered to the general public. Thank you for your understanding and support!
